- Bayliss Fiddiman, National Women’s Law Center, will join us to discuss a case study of Black girls in Miami-Dade schools, and their experience with harsh school discipline policies. The girls reported harassment, harm, humiliation and other challenges. The study provides recommendations to promote a positive school climate through holistic school safety.

- February 24, 2025, Local Lobbying, typically a home week for legislators. Branches encouraged to visit their legislators (Lobby at Home)

- AAUW Public Policy Committee will provide position papers and talking points in person to State Legislators on all bills AAUW supports or opposes.
- Bills that help women examples: Women imprisoned while pregnant, women and other victims of dating violence, women needing the services of the state Pregnancy Care Network.
